There will be three concurrent courses offered at each seminar. Please select only one when you register. Also, keep in mind that these courses have been scheduled but will only be offered if a sufficient number of people sign up for a course.
Due to space limitations in our temporary classrooms at the Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired’s main headquarters building, we have to limit class size to 3-4 students for each course offered. Priority will be given to students who need a class for school or work.

After a trip around the Excel window and an introduction to the Ribbon and how it is used, participants will learn to enter text and numeric data into a spreadsheet and they will learn how to manipulate that data by editing, formatting, and changing the overall layout of the spreadsheet. Training in Excel would not be complete without learning to create formulas and use functions. The final steps will be to save and print a spreadsheet. Then, the icing on the cake will be for participants to create a spreadsheet from scratch (as time permits). Participants will be given a disk to take home containing all material used in the seminar.
